 ... and a rockin' new year!  Add Comment ... is apparently a nude lip! I've seen black rimmed eyes paired with nude lips time and time again so I don't know what took me so long to try it! I admit that when I do a dramatic look on my eyes (which is often) I do the same with the rest of my face. I can't help it, restraint is not my forte. This results in a full-on-glam face that's more appropriate for the stage than a lunch with Mom. In an attempt to walk the line, I followed the oft uttered suggestion of "balance" and did this look for work. On a whim I decided to snap a few shots with my phone just as I parked my car and I'm glad I did because they'll remind me to do a nude lip more often. I quite like it!   Products used: Illamasqua Eye Brow Cake in Vehement Sephora Smoky Cream Liner in Must Have NYX Eyeshadow in Black NYX Blush in Taupe Laura Mercier Lip Pencil in Natural Lips (w/ clear gloss)  So, I've come to terms with the fact that I'll probably never own an Alexander McQueen gown... or a pair of sky-high McQueen heels, or an Alexander McQueen skull embossed leather handbag... but maybe, just MAYBE I could pinch my pennies and pull off one of these babies!  I'm a sucker for big, bold rings! This one is so delightfully chic, creepy and...cute! As gorgeous as the studded skull, is it's kind of boring but the little bee takes it to a whole other level of awesome.  Oh, it also comes in gold and red :)  *sigh*  | Who is Spleen?
